Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in February 1927, as Southern Ohio Business College, a traditional business college. In 1978, the College’s main location was relocated from downtown Cincinnati to the Bond Hill-Roselawn area, and in 1995 to its current location at 1011 Glendale-Milford Road in the community of Woodlawn. The former branch location in Fairfield, Ohio, established in 1975, consolidated with this location in 1995. In March of 1980, the College added a branch location in Akron, Ohio. This facility was extensively renovated, and a new classroom wing was added in the spring of 1986. Brown Mackie College — Cincinnati has the following branches: Brown Mackie College — Akron, Brown Mackie College — Northern Kentucky (Fort Mitchell), and Brown Mackie College — Miami.
Completely renovated in December 2003, the campus comprises more than 57,000-square-feet of classroom, laboratory, and office space designed to specifications of the College for its business, medical, paralegal, and computer technology programs. Instructional equipment is comparable to that currently used in business and industry.
The facilities provide media presentation rooms for special instructional needs, libraries that provide instructional resources and academic support for both faculty and students, and qualified and experienced faculty who are committed to the academic and technical preparation of their students.
The College is nonresidential; students who are unable to commute daily from their homes may request assistance from the Admissions Office or Student Advising in locating off-site housing, if qualified. The College is accessible by public transportation and provides ample parking at no charge. Smoking is prohibited in school buildings.
