Q: Who do I contact about returning to school?
A: You should contact the Assistant Director of Readmissions at the Brown Mackie
College location where you want to return.
Q: How soon can I return to school?
A: The next starting term, as long as you are academically and financially eligible.
Q: How do I find out the status of my student loans?
A: You should contact your lender, or if you do not know who your lender is, you
should contact the Financial Aid office at the Brown Mackie College location you
last attended.
Q: How do I find out if I have a balance with the college?
A: You should contact the Accounting office at the Brown Mackie College location
you last attended.
Q: Can I transfer credits to another Brown Mackie College location?
A: The location that you desire to transfer to would make that determination based
on receiving and reviewing an official transcript from your former school.
Q: Can I switch my program?
A: You are permitted to change your program in some situations. We recommend that
you speak to the Assistant Director of Readmissions at the Brown Mackie College
location that interests you.
Q: Can I change my degree from an associate's degree to a bachelor's degree?
A: You should speak directly with the Assistant Director of Readmissions at the
location you want to return to and they can assist you with that decision.
Q: How do I know if I am in good academic standing?
A: The Assistant Director of Readmissions at the location you last attended can
give you that information.
Q: Can I reenroll after withdrawing?
A: student who withdraws from a Brown Mackie College location may reenroll only
once in any nine month period. If, after the first reenrollment, the student withdraws
a second time, he or she must wait nine months from the last date of attendance
to resume enrollment. This policy applies to both voluntary and administrative withdrawals.
Q: Will all of the credits I previously earned at the Brown Mackie College I attended
still be valid?
A: It depends on when the credits were earned and other criteria. We recommend you
speak to the Assistant Director of Readmissions at the location that interests you.
Q: I've attended another college since I was last enrolled at a Brown Mackie College
location. Will those credits transfer back to my Brown Mackie College location?
A: Speak with your Assistant Director of Readmissions at the location which interests
you and they can explain the policy on post-matriculation transfers of credits.
Q: I was terminated from school and now desire to try and get back into school.
How should I proceed?
A: You need to speak to the Assistant Director of Readmissions at the appropriate
location for assistance with specific appeal procedures at that location.
