Crystal C. Shepherd, President, Brown Mackie College — Atlanta

Crystal Celestine Shepherd joined Brown Mackie College — Atlanta in March 2011. In 2005, she served as a college president with Corinthian Colleges Inc., parent company of Everest Institute, Colleges and Universities. She also served as president of Everest College in McLean, Virginia. In February of 2008, she relocated to the Greater Atlanta area as the Vice President of Everest Institute in Jonesboro, Georgia; and prior to Brown Mackie College — Atlanta, she served as president of Everest Institute in Norcross, Georgia.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mrs. Shepherd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Social Welfare from Dillard University.  She earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Organizational Leadership program at Argosy University.
