Steven Kalina, President, Brown Mackie College – Boise

Steven Kalina is President of Brown Mackie College – Boise. He earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Madison Area Technical College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.
Steven began his career as an instructor in a post-secondary college. He has served as an Academic Dean, National Curriculum Manager, Vice President of Admissions, Vice President of Operations, Regional Academic Specialist, and Campus President. In addition, he has served as an accreditation evaluator for Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) on numerous college on-site visits. Mr. Kalina had the opportunity to be a guest speaker for a number of groups, including the Lion’s Club in College Station, Texas, State Meeting of Respiratory Professionals in San Bernardino, California and DECA-Association of Marketing Students.
Steven has received numerous awards throughout the years, including his induction into the Leadership Council of Mission Kansas in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and Top Achievers of Mission, Kansas in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
